Ivan Galanin, founder of Adipeau
Ivan received his scientific training in inflammation research at sanofi. Before he started Adipeau, he founded two successful companies. Plexcera Therapeutics developed a treatment for a rare pediatric genetic disease (Farber Disease). When Ivan started Plexcera, there was only one living patient with Farber. He sold the company to a large public biotech company. After Plexcera, he started MyPersonalTherapeutics, which identified patient-specific drug combinations for colon cancer. The company built genetically complex fruit fly avatars representing individual human cancers and conducted massive clinical studies in the fruit flies.

Both Lorrie and Celeste believed that aging and menopause need to become de-stigmatized and become openly acknowledged as a time of growth, wisdom, and shared community strength.
