“I'm a cosmetic formulation chemist who, after years of product development for tons of other brands, quit my job to start a skincare line called Educated Mess. While working in formulation, I was always fascinated to learn about new ingredient technologies and delivery systems, but found it frustrating that the brands I was working with seemed to care more about marketing buzzwords than product efficacy- there was such a disconnect between the chemist and the consumer. Together with my business partner Catherine, we started Educated Mess and hope to provide top notch products while bridging the marketing gap that seems to exist throughout the beauty industry.
